Outline
This course aims to provide workers with information about disability, rights of people with disability and services available to people with disability and their families.Learning Outcomes
Participants will
- be familiar with the different types of disability and their impact on peoples' lives;
- understand laws and regulations specifically relevant for people with disability; and
- be familiar with the different services available.
Target group
Anyone who wants to enhance their skills and knowledge about disability. This course is particularly relevant to workers wanting to expand their ability to respond to the diverse community.Assessment
