We promote and protect the rights of people with disability and their family and carers in South East Sydney (Botany, Randwick, Waverly, Woolahra, Rockdale, Hurstville, Kogarah & Canterbury). What is Individual Advocacy? Individual advocacy is where advocates support a person with disability, their carer or family by helping them sort out short term problems they have with services they use or want to use. The Individual Advocate at SESA can:
What will happen when you contact SESA? After you ring SESA an advocate will contact you and ask you questions about your issue/s and make a time to meet with you. You and your advocate will discuss how SESA will support you and will plan how we can solve the issue together. If you need an interpreter the advocate will arrange one.
