RICKTER SCALE® in Australia and New Zealand

Home > Rickter Scale® > Team OZ

RICKTER SCALE®Since 2003 Rickter UK has been training Rickter Scale® practitioners in Australia and New Zealand. A group of trained Rickter Practitioners became so excited about the benefits of the tool, they got together to create Team Oz. The goals of Rickter Team Oz are to develop the use of the Rickter Scale® and adapt it to the diverse needs of our own society and culture.

As experienced practitioners, managers and evaluators in the human services sector, we understand the need and requirement for an effective assessment, evaluation and action planning process that empowers individuals, enables people to take control and gives us the opportunity to measure those all important "soft outcomes" and distance travelled.

The Rickter Scale® is such a tool, and has demonstrated its capacity to measure a wide range of outcomes derived from varying service delivery approaches and interventions.

Members of Rickter Team Oz are promoting and using this tool because we realise the enormous benefits it brings to the way we work, and how it improves the way we incorporate evaluation and assessment into all aspects of our work.
