Uma - MDAA WorkerIn Kempsey we ran a 'Community Skills' workshop for people with disability and family members. From the feedback we received, people who attended the workshop had a great time, learning about how we communicate with each other in both verbal and non-verbal ways. They also met other people with a disability and family members who would like to become more involved in their community. If you are interested in being involved in a support group in Kempsey or surrounding areas call Ruth or Uma at MDAA.

We ran similar workshops in Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour. At both these location we caught up with people who were actively involved in their community.
